Analysis On The Sports Events For The Development Of Urban Culture In Wuhan

Along with the development of society and economy, people want to have a higher level of quality of life and a better living condition, hope that through exercise to improve their physical quality, rich amateur life. This sports event held on our lives and influence to the development of urban culture gradually strengthened. Due to hold sports events, especially the high level of the positive role of sports events on the city development, more and more city hope that by hosting famous and influential sports events to improve city, and promote the development of city culture. In this paper,using the literature material method, case method and contrast analysis, statistical analysis and other research methods, combining with the characteristics of the urban culture of Wuhan city and select the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2007, the thomas-uber in 2012, road cycling, Wuhan open, crossing, the Dragon Boat Festival,horse racing has successfully held the Wuhan sports events such as analysis, Find out what types of sports events for Wuhan city culture development.The results show that:(1)Advantage in central part of China’s economy, culture, science and technology,transportation and other city of Wuhan City significantly, high level, strong comprehensive strength, the geographical position, good city environment, natural resources especially abundant fresh water resources;(2)Wuhan urbanization degree is higher, the citizens of acceptance and capacity is strong, good sports environment, people’s sports enthusiasm high, favorite sports variety, especially football, tennis, badminton and so on mass penetration rate is higher, help to improve the physical quality;(3) At present, Wuhan has been held all kinds of other sports at all levels basically succeeded, has a good effect, exercise a lot of all kinds of game experience of the team, which are held in Wuhan has played a positive role in the development of urban culture, improved the Wuhan city to the outside world fame and influence, but the competition events of low brand awareness;(4)Influence on the development of Wuhan automobile industry is more andmore big, has almost reached the Wuhan economic industrial GDP of 1/4, Wuhan has formed its own unique car culture;(5)Held events, football, tennis, badminton, water, roads, horse racing, racing sports events is more able to reflect the city of Wuhan city sports characteristic, these classes are held events can more suitable for the development of Wuhan urban culture.
