Preliminary Study Of Sexual Intimate Relationship Of Satir Model

With the popularization of the idea of free love and marriage, the emotional element havetaken a growing proportion when males and females establish intimate relationships. Moreand more problems emerge when couples form intimate relationships because of freecombination. The two sexes involved in intimate relationships have their disagreement due tovarious reasons. However, the relationship always end because “love has gone” or“personality clash” when they deal with disagreement confusingly. Although analysis andresearch about relationship has done by many psychologists, and advices and precaution wasgiven by relationship specialists, the occurrence of this phenomenon still cannot be easedeffectively. This research manages to find out a new method to solve this problem in realityand clinical application.Satir Model is a method of psychotherapy which was created by Mrs. Virginia Satir. Itcomprehensively deals with problems people are bearing according to human interactionsystem, personal immanence system and original family system, and put much emphasis onimprove one’s self-esteem. Its useful tool which can be applied conveniently is its mostsignificant characteristic. However, Satir Model attaches to empirical psychotherapy whichemphasizes the importance of experience and its theory system is imperfect. As Mrs. Satir hassuddenly passed away in1988, the research of its theory has once suspended. Although thesuccessors has developed the theory of Satir Model to a relative complete degree, the systemof it still appears to a scattered state, and the range of its application still has limitations.This research manages to comb the system of Satir Model theory and applies it in sexualrelationships, and finds out new methods to solve emotional problems in sexual relationships.This research has six chapters.Chapter1is the introduction which states the introduction of issues, the meaning of theresearch, the others’ research and definition of conception, and introduce the idea of SatirModel about emotional problems in sexual relationships.Chapter2is the idea of communication and communication posture of Satir Model andmanages to apply it into emotional problems in sexual relationship.Chapter3is the idea of Satir Model about internal process and exploration of inner icebergmodel, and manages to apply it into emotional problems in sexual relationship. Chapter4is the idea of Satir Model about original family and exploration of originalfamily map, and manages to apply it into emotional problems in sexual relationship.Chapter5is the applied research of Satir Model about emotional problems in sexualrelationship. It mainly takes the imbalance of sexual harmony as an example to explorepractical application. Besides, it discusses the application of Satir Model in psychologicalcounselling about emotional problems in sexual relationship.Chapter6is case study. Through a case which was attended by one side in relationship anda case which was attended by both sides, it discusses the possibility of application of SatirModel in sexual relationship.Chapter7is the evaluation of application of Satir Model about emotional problems insexual relationship.
