With the advent of information era,"learning how to collect, process, and right apply the various historical information "has become one of the objectives of the new round of History Curriculum Reform, The historical-themed Movie and Television information as an important historical resource has been incorporated into the research field of the historical education workers. However, both from the teaching practice and from the theoretical research, tend to stand on the angle of "teaching" of teachers but seldom focuses on "learning" of students, related to "cultivation of the ability to interpret historical-themed Movie and Television Information of the senior high school students" lacks of systematic research. Therefore, it is necessary to base on the "learning" of students, and to carry out some beneficial explorations to improve students’ ability to interpret historical-themed Movie and Television Information, under the guidance of the new curriculum concept.The thesis bases on previous studies under the guide of "ordinary high school history curriculum standards" and holds an attitude of seeking truth from facts, using multiple study methods, for example literature research, questionnaire investigation, case analysis, observational methods, and launched a full investigation about "the status of high school students interpret historical-themed Movie and Television Information ability". The study revealed that high school students "like watching, but can not interpret; pay attention to the image sensing, but despise rational analysis; Lack of the ability to distinguish right and wrong about historical-themed Movie and Television Information, etc" when they interpreted historical-themed Movie and Television Information. The reasons for this phenomenon, both come from the evaluation system, and from the teachers and the students themselves. Therefore, in order to improve the students’ability to interpret historical-themed Movie and Television Information, the teacher should "combine cultivation of consciousness with the reform of evaluation system" and "combine classroom teaching with activity after class " organically.At the same time, the thesis also tries to prove that:because of the traditional evaluation system, the heavy workload of the students and the relatively low ability of historical thinking, by way of the reform of evaluation system and the students’ consciousness of extracurricular activities, to change the status quo, the effect is not obvious. Therefore the classroom teaching is still the main way. And the teachers should not only strengthen their study of historical-themed Movie and Television Information, but also should pay attention to consider learning situation, focus on explaining, and combing with other history curriculum resources. When they guide students to read the historical-themed Movie and Television Information.
