The reason why history can be understood is that historians explain the facts and meanings.In a broad sense,the ability of historical explanation refers to the level of understanding of a historical problem,which is the ability of rational analysis and objective judgment on the basis of historical understanding.In a narrow sense,it refers to the interpretation of historical materials in a certain way of thinking and logic.There is a difference between individuals.It can be foreseen or even measured.The students,ability from easy to difficult can be divided into "facts and interpretation of historical explanation,and different understanding of the historical facts and the phenomenon of reasonable explanation,historical comparison of different and appropriate historical evaluation" of the five level.From the test point of view,with the increase of the difficulty of the test questions,the students' ability of learning history is also increasing.The ability of historical interpretation has become one of the basic skills and qualities of high school students and the other qualities of the students should be reflected by historical interpretation.From the teaching itself,the cultivation of high school students' ability of historical explanation is the concrete implementation of the history teaching objectives in middle school.It is the demonstration of the ability of the history subject of middle school students,but also an important content of the students' ability of historical thinking.It is very important to cultivate the students' ability of explaining history.However,through the practice investigation,we found that there are some problems in the history of high school students.First of all,on the cognitive attitude,although the sense of history that the interpretation is important,but not from the heart,because of the sloppy work on the history of interpretation;Secondly,the high school students are still weak in the sense of history and show different tendencies to different historical problems;In addition,there is some confusion in the content of training or training methods of history teachers.The reason is not only related to the lack of students' knowledge of history and the correct analysis methods,but also by the teachers'demonstration,training methods,teaching experience and other factors.Aiming at the existing problems,teachers can solve it from the following several aspects:First,to provide a wealth of appropriate historical data to expand the amount of reading history of high school students;Second,to improve the students' sense of historical problems by using textbooks or materials;Third,teach the students how to analysis the graph or text material;Finally,exercise the students' ability to express history and let them speak history.These methods are designed to promote the students' ability of observation,imagination,analysis,synthesis,abstract generalization and so on.But in the process of training,teachers should grasp the cognitive characteristics of senior high school students.Guide them to follow the principles of history when expressing their own views,and regulate the expression of historical language.
