This article through to the countryside on the basis of thein-depth interviews widowed women, came to the conclusion that China’s rural widowed womento their own points of view have changed, although the fate, but did not think the death of herhusband because of their reason, although the death of her husband caused a huge blow to them,but the child is the anchorage of emotion, is their power to live, so they decided to work harderthan before, safeguard the life of the child; But the vast rural areas to the widow’s opinion is stillunder the influence of traditional ideas, thus appeared, and the widow to rise, but no one iswilling to lend a hand. The government’s neglect, the indifference of the society, makes the lifeof rural widowed women.From in my hometown is a small mountain village, this paper selected the five cases, all ofthem are middle-aged and elderly widowed women, their age when their spouse is also veryyoung, they have spent widow living more than ten years, there has been no remarried, their lifecourse are worth thinking and reference, this paper is to select widow for more than ten years oflife, and because to remarry defines some difficult, and they are now at this age, have stable life,life goal is clear, the possibility of remarriage few, therefore, this just accord with therequirement of the article, a sign that they have adapted to this process, they are the subject ofthe article is to research how to debug and adaptation.The author want to through to the widowed women in rural areas from the wife to thewidow description for the process of debugging and adapt to, and to adapt to the situation oftheir life experience’s summary, and use of social work theory and skills strategy is put forward,on the one hand, hope for the social work in the countryside, widowed women study providessome experience on material, really help those in need, on the other hand, through theirsubjective interpretation of "widowed life" and "adaptation", to explore, analysis helps us toadapt to their life process on social culture value and personal value concepts have newinterpretation and reflection, to provide the government reference when making policy andwelfare.
