A Case-based Social Work Intervention Study On Remarriage Disorder Of Old Widowed Women

As a result of population aging in China,more concerns about old widowed people on their physical and mental conditions are highly attached.People are facing a irreversible fact of getting old.There's always one to pass away first in couple even after living together for several decades.With old people's requesting for higher quality of life enhancing,remarriage is an important choice for old people.Psychological barriers to remarriage is a collection of remarriage problems people identified which is a little abstract.The Psychological barriers to remarriage in this passage refers to people who have the thought of remarry but no actions for that,and they have many difficulties in the process.These difficulties are from three aspects :communication with their children,mistaken perceive,and traditional ideology.This thesis will mainly targets to analyse the problems and the factors the old people have in their remarriages.At present,most of old widows affects more by traditional ideology and psychological quality when facing remarriage.The success rate is less than old widowed male.Researchers use practical skills in casework together with family communication therapy,based on ABC theory to provide case intervention service.As old widows,influenced by traditional ideology and their unique motherhood.They are restricted by old ideology and their responsibility for kids.Researchers think family members finding ways to communicate effectively can deepen mutual understanding,feelings.It will make family members get correct perceive towards each other.Based on ABC theory,researchers think case A,Remarriage after bereavement is only the indirect factors of emotional and behavioral responses.While,the belief and views to remarry explain as B,which means the worries about generating negative effects is the direct factor.The researchers used the participation observation method and the in-depth interview method to analyze and study the seven service processes involved in the social work service of the case of the victim's remarriage disorder.The social worker's use of the case social work model to intervene in this service aims to improve the obstacles faced by the client in dealing with widowhood and remarriage.First,through unconditional positive observation,the case owner will be able to ease the emotions and give the client some comfort to resolve the loneliness.Promote a rapid intervention environment with the client;on the other hand,it is necessary to use the ABC theory in cognitive therapy to assist the client's rejection of the obstacles encountered in remarriage,improve misconception,and encourage the client Actively solve the problem of remarriage,so that the client can actively face the happy life of the latter half of his life.In this study,the researchers used the case social service service intervention concept throughout the whole process,using the professional knowledge and skills learned and the relevant theory of practical intervention to provide services to the client.It is expected to improve the communication mode between the client and the child and get rid of the case.The longterm goal of traditional conception is to improve the misconception of the client and help the client to reduce the problem of remarriage.Social work is a work that helps people and solve social problems.It is guided by altruism,based on scientific knowledge,and uses scientific methods to assist people in service activities.Case social work is one of the methods of social work service intervention.Professional social workers use the professional knowledge and skills of people and society to provide material and spiritual support and services to individuals and families,with the aim of helping people and people.The family reduces stress,solves problems,and achieves a good state of well-being for individuals and society.In this study,the researchers combined with the social work expertise learned from the perspective of case social work to analyze the elderly widowed women's desire to remarriage,and integrated the professional skills of individual social work into the problem of elderly widowed women remarriage.Case social work intervention process,summed up the solutions and opinions on the problem of remarriage of widowed women in the elderly,and targeted solutions to the fundamental problems existing in the case,to achieve the goal of widowed elderly people's psychological expectations and happy life.Based on the research and analysis of social worker cases,this study carried out theoretical reflections and experience summaries,trying to help more cases to solve the obstacles of remarriage and improve the quality of life of the elderly in later years.
