Comparative Research Of5-6Year Old Children’Playfulness Performance For Operating Tangram In Different Contexts

Playfulness as a personality characteristic has a great help to people’s health and happiness. Children have different playfulness performances in different activities, play game is an important medium to foster children’ playfulness. Group teaching activities and area activities are the two prominent forms of activities in the kindergarten.What about children’ playfulness in these two different forms of activities, are there differences between the two, are there significant differences between the two, the research bases on these issues.This research let5-6year old children as the research objects,used Tangram as operating materials, made Wang Xiaoli’s adaptation from Barnett Children’ playfulness scale as research tool, observed and recorded5-6year old children’ playfulness performances when operated tangram in two different contexts. This study collected a total of228times playfulness performances, and the analysis of these playfulness performances draws the following results:(1)5-6year old children’ playfulness performances in the area activities and the group teaching activities existed significant differences,in group teaching activities children had higher score about playfulness performances overall than in area activities;(2) there are significant differences in the "cognitive spontaneity", and the frequency of "spontaneously inspect the game process and works" was significantly higher in teaching activities than the in area activities;(3) there are significant differences in the "body spontaneity",children show more "rules" in the group teaching activities;(3) there are significant differences in "digress topic", children digressed more frequently in area activities;(4) there are no differences in "manifest joy","social spontaneity" and "sense of humor".
