Objective The aim of this paper is to analyze the loneliness status of Fuyang normalcollege students, and further explore the relationship between students’ loneliness sense,family environment and family function, and provide scientific effective theoreticalbasis for the implementing intervention.Methods Take the stratified sampling method, extracted1181students as researchobjects, which came from7departments in Fuyang normal college, includingdepartment of Literature, English, Life sciences and so on. These college students wereinvestigated into their family, general condition and demographics by using unifiedcompiled questionnaires. Writer use the UCLA loneliness scale of Chinese version toassess the loneliness of college students, use the Family Environment Scale (FES-CV)to evaluate family environment, use the Family Assessment Device (FAD) to assessfamily function, use the College Students’ Depression Scale (SDS) to test thedepressive emotion.Results In the school, the students’ loneliness score (45.53±3.31) is higher than theaverage level in domestic normal people (P <0.001). The scores were statisticallysignificant difference in gender, one-child, family income, arts and science groups, andcultural degree of mother groups. Pearson correlative analysis showed that lonelinessscore and family environment exist correlation in each dimension (P<0.01).Multi-factor Logistic regression analysis showed that sex, culture degree of mother,and intimacy, control, emotional expression, contradictoriness, entertaining andorganizational dimensions, etc. in family environment scale are important factors that affect college students’ level of loneliness. Pearson correlation analysis showed thatcollege students’ loneliness and all dimensions of family function are statisticalcorrelation (P<0.05). Multi-factor Logistic regression analysis showed that the culturedegree of mother and communication, total function, role dimension in family functionscale are important factors that affect college students’ level of loneliness.Conclusion Family environment and family function are very important factors ofcollege students’ level of loneliness. It is great significance for improving collegestudents’ status of loneliness to optimize family environment of and enhance familyfunction. In order to achieve the ideal effect of prevention and treatment,We mustmake a targeted psychological counseling for college students those are in thelong-term loneliness state.
