| After China’s reform and open policy, the secondary vocational education has been developed greatly. However, in recent years, it is also faced with huge opportunities and challenges. There are four reasons. Firstly, it becomes more and more difficult for secondary vocational schools to enroll students because of the enlarging scale of enrollment. Secondly, the quality of students is decreasing because good students are unwilling to study there. Thirdly, although companies need skilled talents, graduates from those schools can not meet their demands. Last but not least, the degree of approval for vocational schools’ students is very low. As the globalization of world economy and development of Guangdong economy, shortage of skilled workers has arisen in many companies in various degrees. They are in pressing demand. As secondary vocational schools are important institutions for training front line skilled talents, the development of vocational education can relieve the shortage of skilled talents effectively, thus enhancing Guangzhou’s economic development to a certain extent. As stipulated in the law of vocational education, secondary vocational schools should arrange students to have practice and internship in companies according to the requirements of teaching objectives and plan of teaching program. In our country, internship is a new and important way to cultivate talents and an effective way to improve graduates’ professional competence. It meets the development of human resource and it is the direction of education reform. In view of this, this article tries to research the subject of internship of secondary vocational school students in Guangzhou.Chapter1is an introduction, which mainly introduces the research background, research objective and significance, research contents and methods, and summarizes related theory.Chapter2is a literature review, which reviews the methods and experience of internship of secondary vocational education abroad, points out their strong points and weak points, and introduces the current research state in our country.Chapter3is a questionnaire survey and analysis, which finds out the current state and existing problems of vocational students’ internship, through questionnaire survey from400students majoring in computer, and interview with15teachers3directors who are responsible for students’ internship.Chapter4is the countermeasures for improving the quality of students’ internship, including gaining support from administrative institutions, enhancing schools’internal construction, strengthening publicity of skilled talents and attracting the participation of enterprises.Chapter5is conclusion and expectation, which summarize the problems solved in this article and points out questions unsolved. |
