This paper combines the theoretical knowledge with questionnaire investigation. The aim of this paper is to probe into the relationship between English teachers’ body language and Senior One students’ learning interests and the attentions that teachers should pay to when they use body language in Senior One class. The paper divides teachers’ body language into four parts:facial expressions, gestures, posture and distance. It is found that:1) Senior One students also pay their attention to teachers’ body language;2) the eye contact between teachers and Senior One students will improve students’ learning interest;3) Senior One students’ learning interests can be guaranteed by teachers’ smile;4) teachers’ gestures can enhances Senior One students’ learning activity and motivation;5) teachers’ postures can draw Senior One students’ attention and arouse students’ learning interest;6) the proper distance between students and Senior One students is helpful for their communication;7) teachers should pay attention to their body language in Senior One class. This paper is of theoretical and practical value.
