Physics practical activities in junior high school is on the basis of the real life and the physics knowledge of students, by the way of activities, training students’ability to use physics knowledge to solve practical problems, to communicate and collaborate with others, which can fully reflect the guiding role of teachers and the subject position of students.This thesis studies the theory and practice of physics practical activities in junior high school. By literature studies, this thesis studies physics practical activities in junior high school, and understands the status of this in physics teaching. Analyzing theoretically the characteristics and advantages of junior high school physics practical activities, raised the specific implement steps of the activity subject selection, the implementation of activities, and the activity evaluation. On this basic, I have carried the specific practice on some students of Nanjing Shuren International School and Nanjing Foreign Language School Xianlin campus. By the means of individual interviews, understand teaching effects of the practical activity.The research results show that:Physics practical activities in junior high school consolidates the physics knowledge of students, improves the ability of students to apply physics knowledge to solve practical problems, and stimulates students’ enthusiasm and initiative.
