It was an remarkable period for the development of art education in our country from1927to1937(the early period of Nanking National Government). The education tends to be stabilized and stereotyped in this period, together with the joint efforts of various forces made the education has been steady development, including drawing curriculum of junior high school.This essay has analyzed the development of the drawing curriculum of junior high school in China from1927to1937:the social foundation, ideological foundation, views of children’s education, the attitude of education sector and the academic world, experiences in drawing curriculum development, the three drawing curriculum standards of junior high school, the construction of the drawing curriculum material of junior high school systematically.Using various kinds of research methods, including:literature material methods, historical research methods, the way of the unity of history and logic, comparative study methods, data statistics methods, charts methods, the essential method of curriculum philosophy research, the essential method of sociology of curriculum, multi-angle analyzed the formulation, the content, The embodied Education guiding ideology, social function of the three drawing curriculum standards of junior high school, and teaching material construction of the drawing curriculum published in this period, the essay manifests the development of the drawing curriculumon a comparatively higher local level in1927-1937.In addition, this essay has been made objective comments and analysis on the historical value and the problems of dominant and recessive of the junior high school drawing curriculum development.Based on the above research, in this essay, the basic issues of the current middle school fine arts curriculum development has carried on the further reflection:its objectives, the construction and arrangement of its contents, its performance and evaluation, its guiding ideology, and a deep research has been made on the enlightenment by Junior high school drawing curriculum development in1927-1937applied to the current middle school fine arts education development.
