This for rural education out of embarrassing position of unable to do anything and swinging of the dual pressures of quality education and a high score has certain significance.In this paper, through literature, participant observation and in-depth interview and other methods, and H junior high school in Liaoning Province as a case, to analyze the present situation and the problems of the implementation of quality education in rural areas, and combined sociological perspective to analyze the causes of the problems of education, and seek the road to meet the development of quality education in rural areas. In this paper, through the analysis of the case, we can see, rural junior high school does not implement quality education smoothly. But there is competition between quality education and examination-oriented education, rural school education hovering between the two, swinging around. Analysis of the cause of the problems, this paper does not simply analyze within the education system, but put the problems on the social background, and analyze the problems with the perspective of sociology, This paper thinks that the important role of education in social stratification and social mobility and the hierarchical education system and the urban-rural dual structure is a profound roots of problems, so the relevant individuals make their choices in this social background. Finally, this paper put forward the specific strategies from the two levels of the education system and social system to solve problems.
