This article is in the view of curriculum reform for "two courses". And this isabout the problem which can be happened in the classes of "Ethics Accomplishmentand Law Foundation". In the general, this article based on the combination ofinvestigation of practice and theory, and the study method of this research is literatureanalysis and survey.Since2006, considerable attention has given for the change of "two courses" inour country. Our universities are encouraged to adopt various of effective teachingmethods in the practical teaching, in order to improving the effective of educationcourses, especially the inquiry teaching method. Inquiry teaching method is based onconstructivism theory, and conforms to the learning psychology of college students,which can solve some problem on the classes. So the inquiry teaching method is amore suitable for use in the course of "Ethics Accomplishment and Law Foundation".According to the investigation of the present situation of inquiry teaching inclass of "Ethics Accomplishment and Law Foundation": in generally, the use ofinquiry-based teaching is very limited, such as the analysis to the students learningsituation is too subjective; students’ learning initiative is ignored; the teaching goal isinflexible, teachers do not pay attention to exploring the emotional and technologygoals; In the teaching process of the choice of teaching content is relatively drab, lackof exploring all kinds of cultural data; In the class teachers do not pay attention to theproblem consciousness, too few teaching interaction; And the teaching evaluation isone-sided. There are three reasons. Firstly, the teachers are lack of confidence tochange; Secondly, some teachers don’t have the ability to use inquiry-based teachingmethods; Thirdly, the resources of the courses of "Ethics Accomplishment and LawFoundation" is limited. Because of the problems and reasons some advices are given.Firstly, the teacher should change the traditional teaching ideas, try to understand thestudents. Secondly, teachers should rebuild the rational curriculum standard,formulate a reasonable teaching goals; Thirdly, teachers should pay attention to enrichthe teaching content, grasp the suitable exploration degree, choose useful exploringteaching strategies and design a reasonable evaluation system; Fourthly, in order to improving teachers’ teaching ability, the leader should encourage teachers to improveand reform their teaching technology and organize some necessary training activities.In the end of this article, according to the concept of inquiry teaching in thecourses of "Ethics Accomplishment and Law Foundation", there is a teaching designfor the patriotic education which can be found in the book ("Ethics Accomplishmentand Law Foundation" which published by the higher education publishing companychapter2), in order to better interpretation of the idea of inquiry teaching in thecourses of "Ethics Accomplishment and Law Foundation".
