With the further development of higher vocational teaching reform, high vocational colleges don’t pay attention to the scale, more focus on quality in educational development. Many vocational colleges start from a low base and are in a vacuum of competitiveness. vocational colleges can’t build up the core competence without a high-quality and professional team. In a condition that educational investment and other factors can not be changed in the short term, building a scientific and reasonable salary system is one of the important means to attract and retain talent. Strategic compensation focus on the salary management in the strategic perspective, has integrated the salary management and organizational strategy and make organization achieve maximum efficiency with limited resources. Strategic compensation is the most effective method to enhance the talent market competition ability of organization.This article takes N vocational college for instance, we find out the problems existing in the salary system by introducing and analyzing its salary conditions. On this basis, combined with the actual situation,a new strategic salary system was designed on the strategic compensation theory. The thesis is divided into four parts:the first chapter is the introduction, mainly summarizes the domestic and foreign research results to develop the research objectives, contents and frame; the second chapter, study the concept and connotation, characteristic on strategic compensation theory; the third chapter analyses the current salary structure of N vocational college; the fourth chapter, takes N vocational college for instance,put forward train of thought, principle, strategy, measure and safeguard measure of building the strategic compensation management system of vocational colleges in Guangxi;The last is the conclusion.
