With the continuous modification and perfection of the curriculum standards, the main line of reform has become increasingly clear. Focusing target on sense of social responsibility, perfect personality, innovation spirit and practical ability, the desire and ability for lifelong learning, good information literacy and awareness of the environment. The measure on geographical science literacy is the core concept of the citizens to cultivate certain geographical science literacy foundation established in the geography curriculum standards. In geography teaching content and teaching content arrangement, the development and evolution of the natural geographical things have a moderate increase in this part of the increase is actually the geographical history of science content. Well to make the teaching of geography merges into the HPS education will closer to the geography education curriculum standards, and the requirements of the times. Through the guidance of teachers, the creation of problem situations and positive thinking or inquiry to achieve a better understanding of the relevant knowledge and necessary concept shift. So that the students will establish a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values to understand the essence of science, experience the great spirit of science, and also to establish a correct scientific attitude and develop good science quality for the purpose of promoting students’mastery of specific scientific knowledge content. The geography curriculum reform in China has begun to bring into students to understand the requirements of the nature of science to the areas of reform. The HPS education into high school geography teaching, not only the geography curriculum reform and development requirements of the times, but also is constantly updated title meaning of the geographical curriculum standard.The research through the domestic and foreign related experience in HPS reference. This article analyzes the HPS education into high school geography education, based on the practical problems to develop a targeted teaching strategies, teaching the concept of change from the start based on the principle of the development of teaching objectives, through changes in classroom teaching, improve teaching content, optimize classroom teaching processual integrated teaching high school geography. Finally, the practical effect of inspection and analysis can be drawn from research in the teaching of geography in high school the HPS education into the students really understand the geographical knowledge, to establish a correct concept of science and improve the scientific literacy play a catalytic role.
