From the Sixth National Population Census data shows that our country has entered an ageing society. The results show that in mainland China, the proportion of population65-year-old and above increased by1.91%. Some organizations predicted that in2020s,60-years-old or older will account for20%of the total population in China. According to internationally accepted standards, the65-year-old population accounted for7%, or60years old (10%), can be called an aging society. We can see that China has entered the era. Due to more than30years of reform, development and the influence of the family planning policy, China’s aging population will continue to improve, the youth population will be declining. Because our country aging of the population is also associated with aging, the only child, empty nest etc multiple effect, so the aging problem of our country has a very special complexity. According to data from the ministry of civil affairs, China’s empty nest family has more than fifty percent, and the proportion in the big cities is reached seventy percent. In an aging population degree is increasing at the same time, a new phenomenon has appeared in our country, the more and more one-child after grown up or start a family gradually away from the original family live together with their parents. Weakening in the family function, changing ideas, social flow is accelerated at the same time, the original family pension mode have already can’t satisfy the current situation, our country need to set up a new system of social support, but at the moment for the empty nest old man’s social support system is what problem, to study how to improve.
