City Empty Nest Elderly Social Support Society Work Involved

With the evolution of the traditional family structure,the change of population structure and family miniaturization trend,a large number of "empty nest" old city groups in the community,they need help and support in the physical economy,daily care,community communication and emotion etc..In this paper,the social support and the hierarchy of needs theory,using participant observation method and interview method,study the social support problem of city community Empty Nester.First of all,the author from the situation and to support the status quo Empty Nester of life,explore the difficulties and needs Empty Nester faces,and from the three aspects of individual,family and society of Empty Nester in social support in the plight of the reasons;secondly,through visits,data collection,problem diagnosis,made the case for the main feasible the service plan;finally,the whole process of micro intervention for the service plan,to solve the lack of social support Empty Nester facing,the service effect is obvious.This paper selects the typical case study of representative may not,a single method,can promote the use of social support in city community Empty Nester problems,still need further proof.This paper draws the conclusion: the ideas and methods of social work to help the city Empty Nester get social support,is feasible and effective in the elderly social work services;for social work services in three areas of Gansu province to better provide the actual reference value.
