Writing is a significant way of communication by language. It’s an important component of Chinese teaching in senior high school. How to lead students to understand the world, recognize themselves, and express themselves is an urgent task in the course of the teaching of writing.Through investigation, this thesis analyzes some problems in senior high school students’writing and the causes of them, such as the lack of extracurricular reading, far-form-life writings, stylized writing and high pressure from exam oriented writing). Learned from the Situational Teaching Method by Mr. Li Jilin and the theory of situational teaching, the theory of three transformation and the theory of returning to the real life, the thesis constructs the teaching mode of situational writing, which is based on the Senior Chinese New Curriculum Standard as well as the idea of textbook’s organization, keeps to the psychological characteristics of the senior high school students, and also improves the evaluation system of the teaching of writing.This thesis probes into basic requirements and main methods of the setting of situations. Basic requirements focuses on novelty, aestheticism, education, generative purpose and practicality. The main methods involve life, performance, sound and image, language and activities. Besides, the evaluation system pays more attention to the multi-dimensional targets, hierarchical evaluation requirement, the pluralism of the appraisal subject and the varieties of the evaluation methods.
