Research On Present Situation, Problems,and Measures Of Study Habits Of Primary School Pupils

Study habit is a leaning behavior style and the way of thinking which is obtained in the process of learning. It is very important for the development of the individual. But the present situation of the study habits of primary school pupils are worrying.Based on the survey of Beiyuan primary school in xincheng district of Hohhot City, with statistical analysis, the text discovered some problems. Study habits of primary school pupils developed to a certain degree,but some of them didn’t. There were great difference in promotion among different study habits.A few of students had different degree of problems. Sexual differences in study habits were remarkable.From student, school and family, the text discussed the cause of the problems. External factors and internal factors influenced study habits. External factors inclauded school, family and society. Internal factors inclauded physiological conditions,development of intelligence,and self-consciousness. Good study habits depended on coordination of them.According to the physiological and the psychological characteristic of primary school pupils, with principles of approaching, stimulating, wholeness, and activity, we should take practical measures. The strengthened guidance should enhance the understanding of study habits of primary school pupils. The teachers should concentrate on the emphasis of consolidation. The teachers should give the fullest expression to their initiative to improve their independence, insistent and planning. To the gender differences, guiding measures should be taken to make the all-round development.
