With the rapid economic growth and the society development, research peoplegradually recognized that the amount of new enterprises is very important to maintainthe social economy grows rapidly and continuously. Enhancing the universitystudents’ entrepreneurial intentions and exploiting the university students’psychological capital are the focus of the human resources management, which arethe keys to business success, and they can encourage university students to achieve awin-win situation with society. The results of the related theoretical studies haveshown that confidence, optimism are the same quality of the entrepreneur andconfidence, optimism are the dimensions of psychological capital as well. Can theseinfer that high psychological capital lead high entrepreneurial intentions? Therefore,this paper will study the impact mechanism the psychological capital towardsuniversity students’ entrepreneurial intentions, and then intervene the mechanism so asto enhance the level of university students’ entrepreneurial intentions.Firstly, this article reviews the researches on the related theories of thepsychological capital and university students’ entrepreneurial intentions. Then itcombs out the various elements of the psychological capital and the dimension of theentrepreneurial intentions. And on this basis, it gives the analytical framework and theresearch hypothesizes of this article. Secondly, from the internal structures of thepsychological capital, this article analyzes the four elements of the psychologicalcapital, which are confidence, hope, optimism and resilience. Then it discuss themeaning and the definition of the entrepreneurial intentions, and make a furtheranalysis on the impact mechanism in which the four factors and the psychologicalcapital affect the entrepreneurial intentions. Thirdly, this article analyzes therelationship between the psychological capital and entrepreneurial intentions of thecase Xi’an university students by using statistical analysis method with the SPSS.According to the results of the empirical analysis, it inspects the assumptions.Main research contents include:(1)the content and structure of psychological capitalof university students;(2)Psychological capital influencing entrepreneurial intentions;(3) the research of entrepreneurial intentions differences under different universitystudents;(4) the research of moderator effect between Psychological capital variablesand entrepreneurial intentions variables.1140questionnaires were issued in manyuniversity of the city of Xi’an, and962copies of valid questionnaires were returned.The data collected were analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis, hierarchicalregression method and other methods. The main conclusions include:1. The content of university student psychological capital includes four dimensions. Through literature studies, open style questionnaire, the pretest, formaltesting aspect, by the methods of confirmatory factor analysis, exploratory factoranalysis and other, this study found that university students psychological capitalstructure contains the contents of four dimensions, that is, confidence, hope, optimismand resilience.2. Psychological capital has a significant impact on entrepreneurial intentions.Psychological capital has significant positive impact on entrepreneurial intentions, thethree dimensions of psychological capital have significant positive impact onentrepreneurial intentions, these three dimensions are: confidence, hope and optimism.But the fourth dimension resilience of psychological capital does not have significantimpact on entrepreneurial intentions.3. University student entrepreneurial intentions are significantly affected by thedifference of sexuality and what they are studied in,but not affected by the age,wherethey are lived before go to university and what kind of university they are studied in.4. Entrepreneurial environment plays a significant moderator role betweenpsychological capital, hope, optimism,resilience and entrepreneurial intentions.Entrepreneurial environment does not play a significant moderator role betweenconfidence and entrepreneurial intentions.
