In Japan, Chinese has become the second largest foreign language and the people learning Chinese is increasing every year. According to the large sum, we have to stick to the "student-center" principle to compose our textbooks in order to meet their needs.This research analyses the organizations of TCFL, students, teachers, textbooks, Confucius Institute and summarizes the features of Japanese students on learning pronunciation, Chinese characters, vocabulary, grammar. Based on the two points and combining the teaching experience, the author probes into three different types of Japanese textbooks in the first grade of University of Tokyo, Ritsumeikan University, Keio University, sums up the merits and shortcomings, in order to give some suggestions on compiling the primary textbooks which can fit the Japanese students.Texts:this research makes a comparison on arrangement, capacity and the topics. The textbooks of University of Tokyo and Keio University are good at capacity, which fits the learning rule step by step. The textbooks are on free vain.Vocabulary:this research makes a comparison on arrangement and quantity. These three textbooks are with their own features on arrangement.The textbooks of University of Tokyo put the vocabulary on the corresponding margin, in order to reduce the students’burden. The textbooks of Keio University make a summary of the same kind of words behind every texts so as to help students memory. On the point of quantity, the textbooks of University of Tokyo are larger than the two other textbooks.Grammar:this research makes a comparison on quantity and explanation. On the quantity of grammar, the textbooks of University of Tokyo are larger than the two other textbooks. On the explanation, these three textbooks use Japanese. And the textbooks of University of Tokyo make error analysis.Exercises:this research makes a comparison on quantity and arrangement. The textbooks of University of Tokyo and Keio University are almost the same. The textbooks of Ritsumeikan University make the exercises of pronunciation and listening through the end, which embodies the great importance. Besides, it increases the difficulty according to the level. Culture:these three textbooks are concern with the cultural project and are mainly on Chinese culture. Secondly, there are little coincidence rate, which indicates choosing culture on random.All in all, these three textbooks embody different features. The author hope that this can provide a certain help on composing textbooks of TCFL for the Japanese students.
