| With the advent of the new era of international Chinese education,the research in the related field should be changed from coarse to fine,and the research on supplementary grammar textbooks that can be applied to international students should become the basic work to face the diversified learning needs.A supplementary grammar textbook is a special grammar textbook for international Chinese education,which can help learners learn Chinese grammar in depth and improve their language skills and communicative ability in addition to general Chinese language learning,and has a systematic grammar system for teaching,and enables learners to learn independently at any time and place through simple language and scientific grammar explanation mode.In this paper,we examine 24 sets of supplementary grammar textbooks in a systematic and multi-level way in the new context of international Chinese language education,and on this basis,we try to discuss the direction of this kind of textbooks and how to meet the expectations of international students for grammar textbooks as much as possible.In terms of basic content,the grammar items,quantity and difficulty distribution of the textbooks are examined by relying on the grammar syllabus in the newly promulgated International Chinese Language Education Level Standards,and it is found that the grammar systems taught in these textbooks have great similarity,but all of them lack attention to the spoken forms;the differences in the number of grammar points are highly related to the way the textbooks arrange the grammar points and the selection principles;from "The number of grammatical points is highly related to the way they are arranged and the principles of their selection.In terms of grammar explanatory modes,we found that 24 sets of supplementary grammar textbooks can be divided into 3 categories and 9 modes,among which deductive mode is the mainstream and "explanation + deduction + practice" is the basic explanatory mode,and there are also differences between supplementary grammar textbooks and other types of textbooks in terms of the main modes of grammar explanatory modes and pedagogy.There are also differences between supplementary grammar textbooks and other types of textbooks in terms of the main modes of grammar explanation and teaching methods.In terms of exercise design,we analyzed the amount of exercises,question types and exercise types in 23 sets of textbooks,and examined the distribution of 19 types of questions in the textbooks under the distinction of primary and secondary question types,and found that the supplementary grammar textbooks paid much less attention to communicative exercises than comprehension,imitation and memory,and intellectual development.In terms of the absorption and transformation of theoretical grammar in textbooks,the relationship between theoretical grammar and pedagogical grammar is first explored,and then the presentation of some grammatical transformation results in textbooks is examined.Finally,the article integrates the above aspects of research and examines the expectations of international students for grammar textbooks by means of a questionnaire,and on this basis discusses the ways to improve the development of supplementary grammar textbooks. |
