As we all know, thanks to the rising of the comprehensive power in China, more and more foreigners are learning Chinese. Northern Myanmar is near by the mainland of China, there are many Chinese descendants living there, have a good foundation of learning Chinese. This thesis shall analyze two sets of primary school textbooks unanimous used in Lashio,"Guo Yu" adopted by Taiwan NICT and "Han Yu" adopted by Beijing Chinese School. The comparative analysis of the two sets of textbooks, including five aspects of materials structure and topic, voice, vocabulary, grammar, exercises. On the basis of the advantages and disadvantages of the two sets of textbooks are expounded, and brings forward some opinions to the localized Chinese textbook for Myanmar.In the teaching material structure, were analyzed from the total structure, unit structure, the structure of the text and the arrangement of the topics and distribution. The two sets of textbooks all have wide ranges in topics and the specific distributions should be adjusted. The amount of topics reflecting the differences between China and foreign countries and the native country should be increased, so as the opening, communicative topics. The topics of "Guo Yu" should be simplified and related to contemporary life. The topics of two sets can be according the order from simple to deep, outside to the inside.As for the pronunciation aspect, mainly through quantitative analysis and questionnaire survey method to study in the arrangement and content of pronunciation."Guo Yu" according the rule from easy to difficult to read Chinese characters,"Han Yu" is more emphasis on cultivating students’ good language habits from childhood. The disadvantage of "Han Yu" is the lack of Chinese Pinyin, even though "Guo Yu" put phonetic symbols in low grade, but did not work in teaching at all. In addition to the actual investigation and teaching, Chinese Pinyin will take over phonetic symbols and become more and more popular.As for the words, there are a large number of common words in the two sets of textbooks, both Taiwan and mainland writers have the same opinion of the Chinese common words. The unique words reflect the difference between the two sides of Chinese vocabulary, this difference is enriching the current Chinese vocabulary, but easy to puzzle Chinese as a second language learners. So seeking common should become the focus of Chinese vocabulary scheme.As for grammar, the grammar points and the difficulty of "Guo Yu" are higher than "Han Yu", it tend to taking things all round and standardization, so that the number of difficulty is higher. Relatively speaking, the grammar situation of "Han Yu" is more suitable for Chinese school of Northern Myanmar.As for practice, the types are very rich, and relatively fixed, but it is need to enhance the interest and innovation of the two sets of textbooks.
