Metformin Clinical Acupuncture Spleen Phlegm Type Of Adolescent PCOS Treatment

Objective:This topic is to observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture and metformin on the type of phlegmy wet pixu (spleen deficient) adolescent PCOS patients and to explore its mechanism.Methods:60cases of adolescent pcos patients were divided into treatment group and control group with30cases in each group.The treatment group were given acupuncture and metformin.The treatment group were given acupuncture in the third day of spontaneous menstrual or progesterone withdrawal bleeding,1week for2times in12weeks and each treatment for30minutes;at the same time,they were given metformin.With water frying uniform, three times a day,every500mg and treatment for3months.The control group were given metformin in the third day of spontaneous menstrual or progesterone withdrawal bleeding,methods with the treatment group.This study observed the improvements of clinical symptoms in both groups.It observed the changes of WHR,BMI,LH,FSH,LH/FSH,FINS,FPG,HOMA-IR score,as well as the volume of ovary and follicle number under the abdominal ultrasonography before and after the treatment in both groups.And it compared the differences of the comprehensive effect between two groups.Results:Compared with the control group, the post-treatment general treatment effect and symptoms score of the treatment group was better than the control group with significant difference (P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was93.33%while the control group was66.67%.There was significant difference in two groups of clinical curative effect (P<0.05).There was significant difference on symptoms score of the two groups both between pre-treatment and post-treatment (P<0.05).The differences were no statistical significance before treatment on BMI,WHR, LH,FSH,LH/FSH, T,FINS, FPG, HOMA-IR, volume of ovary and follicle count of the two groups(P>0.05),which were in balance.These observed indicators were significantly lower after treatment than before treatment.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in two groups of LH,FSH,LH/FSH,FPG(P>0.05);There was significant difference in two groups of BMI,WHR,T,FINS,HOMA-IR,volume of ovary and follicle count(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture and metformin can effectively decrease androgen level,improve insulin resistance,lose weight and polycystic ovary conditions on the type of phlegmy wet pixu (spleen deficient) adolescent PCOS patients,and its curative effects are better than only using.
