| Objective: This study aims at observation of abdominal acupoints catgut embedding therapy in the treatment of spleen deficiency and dampness resistance type of abdominal obesity effect, through and routine selection of acupoint catgut embedding therapy were observed and compared, compared of two treatment methods for spleen wet resistance type of abdominal obesity were different, looking for for spleen wet resistance of abdominal type obesity patients more acupoints for the match, as far as possible to reduce the patient’s pain and improve the clinical efficacy.Method: 60 cases of spleen deficiency and dampness stagnation type in patients with simple obesity were divided into mild, moderate obesity group, 30 cases in each group. Through comparison before and after and cross-reference between groups, compare and observe the changes at some aspects, such as weight, body weight index, body fat rate, muscle rate, waist circumference, hip circumference, the changes of symptom scoreResult: Comparison between groups: There were no significant difference in weight, body mass index, body fat rate, muscle rate, waist and hip circumference at 1 and 2 treatment course between treatment group and control group(p>0.05). Compared with controlled group, symptom score significantly decreased at 1 and 2 treatment course in treatment group(p<0.05). Comparison within groups: Compared with baseline, significant decreased were found in weight, body mass index, body fat rate, muscle rate, waist and hip circumference at 1 and 2 treatment course not only in treatment group but also in control group(p<0.05). However, compared with baseline, there were no significant differences at 1 and 2 treatment course neither in treatment group nor control group (p>0.05).Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the abdominal acupoints and conventional differentiation of acupoints for the spleen deficiency dampness dampness type abdominal obesity were effective. But in the improvement of the wet obstruction of spleen deficiency, the acupoint group was superior to the abdominal acupoints group in the improvement of the wet and damp resistance of spleen deficiency. |
