Objective:Plantar fasciitis is a common clinical foot disease, and it affects the patient’s life and work. There are many therapeutic methods in the clinical, They are all curative, but at the same time, they have many disadvantages, like working slowly, high recurrence rate, poor adherence and expensive, etc. Compare the curative effect between the two group of patients with plantar fasciitis, who are treated by needle knife therapy or block therapy in the outpatient service of Wangjing hospital. Evaluate the exact curative effect of needle knife therapy.Methods:60patients with plantar fasciitis, who meet the standards, were randomly and equally divided into two groups(30patients in each group). In the group of needle knife therapy, we choose the tender point as the internal fixation point. After the local anesthetic, insert the needle knife vertically. Incise the ligament horizontally3-4times, and then rotate the needle90°, and incise the ligament longitudinally3-4times, then pull out the needle. In the group of block therapy, we use the mixed liquor of lidocaine hydrochloride (5ml:0.1g) and compound betamethasone1ml, insert the needle at the tender point to the bone. Every patients were treated just once. We record the score of SF-MPQ and JOA before the treatment, one week after the treatment and one month after the treatment. And observe the recurrence rate two months after the treatment. We use SPSS22.0for data entry management and maintenance, and analyze the basic information of the patients and the score of SF-MPQ and JOA.Results:1、Although the total effective rate of the needle knife therapy group (83.33%) is lower than the block therapy group (86.67%), it is too small to be statistically significant.2、Two months after the treatment, the recurrence rate of the needle knife therapy group is6.67%, and the recurrence rate of the block therapy group is16.67%. They have statistical significance (P=0)3、The differences of the SF-MPQ and JOA score of the every group before the treatment and after the treatment(one week and one month) have statistical significance (P=0)4、The differences of the SF-MPQ and JOA score between the two groups after the treatment(one week and one month) have no statistical significance(P1=0.680, P2=0.749for one week after the treatment;Pi=0.272, P2=0.994for one month after the treatment).5、In the needle knife therapy group, we find that there is a significant correlation between the SF-MPQ score and the age of the patients. The Pearson Correlation is-0.741, P=0.000<0.01.Conclusion:1、The curative effects of the two therapy are both good, and they are basically the same.2、The curative effects of the three patterns of syndrome are basically the same.3、The recurrence rate of the needle knife therapy is significantly lower than the recurrence rate of the block therapy.4、As the growth of the patients’age, the curative effect of the needle knife therapy reduce. But in the block therapy group, there is no correlation between the age and the curative effect.5、Both of the two therapys have high security.
