Objective:The purpose of this project is to analyze related factors ofchildren with Tourette constitutions in Chinese medicine. Explore the ticoccurred related factors, and Tourette children TCM Constitutional Typeintrinsically linked with the incidence of children with Tourette. Provide atheoretical basis for children with Tourette Factors and TCM constitutiongenotyping. And provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of thisdisease of the clinical.Method:The epidemiological investigation cross-sectional study andcase-control study method, strictly in accordance with the inclusion andexclusion criteria to Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese MedicineAffiliated Hospital pediatric outpatient children were retrospectivelyanalyzed from September2011to December2012, both Tourette since September2011to December2012, the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University ofTraditional Chinese Medicine pediatric outpatient children with a controlgroup. To develop the questionnaire, site survey approach, the studyquestionnaire. Upon completion of the data collection, the establishmentof a database, using SPSS17.0software for statistical analysis.Results:1.Collected110cases of children with Tourette Syndrome,including86males and24females, male: female≈3.6:1, the incidenceof boys than girls. The age of onset at5-7years of age.2.Children with Tourette ’s risk factors, including genetic factors,stimulated by stress or the mother during pregnancy, mode of production,recurrent respiratory tract infection, poor eating habits, familydiscipline severe or doting factors.3.Constitutions in Chinese medicine for Tourette the Yin quality72.72%,Qi deficiency34.55%, qi quality25.45%for the dominant physical. Conclusion:1.Children with Tourette ’s risk factors, including genetic factors,stimulated by stress or the mother during pregnancy, mode of production,recurrent respiratory tract infection, poor eating habits, familydiscipline severe or doting factors.2.Constitutions in Chinese medicine for Tourette the Yin quality, Qideficiency, qi quality for the dominant physical.
