Objectives:According to Traditional Chinese Medical (TCM) constitution theory, applied the method of clinical epidemio-logical investigation to study the type distribution characteristics of dysmenorrhea and healthy, relationship between physical factors and incidence of dysmenorrhea to provide new concepts for dysmenorrhea treatment and prevention. Through female undergraduate students dysmenorrhea status survey, analysis the difference relationship between the etiology of dysmenorrhea and menstrual cramps, some living habits, emotional changes, regional environment. To become female undergraduate students’ health promotion and mental health counseling and guidance to determine the focus of health education.Methods:Using general situation questionnaire and Chinese medicine constitution classification and decision table which created by professor Qi Wang. The questionnaire were survey 200 cases of female university students in China and Thailand to screening out the dysmenorrhea. Group A; 100 patients randomized from female students of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Harbin, China. And 100 female students for group B patients from faculty of Chinese Medicine, Chandrakasem Rajabhat University and of College of Medicine, Rangsit University, Thailand. The constitution type distribution characteristic and clinical data relationship of two groups were analyzed and statistical analysis by SPSS 19.0 software, included that the morbidity factors and susceptibility.Results:1) Age, height, weight analysis no difference between two groups of patients between China and Thailand.2) Food and drinking were irregular in China and Thailand. Incident rate of food bias dysmenorrhea was high, but more incidence rate in spicy diet like persons. Indicate that more incidence by cold constitution, but also high ratio in Thailand. The hot weather that damp heat constitution too much, so two kinds of flavor will be affected and relevant to dysmenorrhea.3)China and Thailand have irregular sleep and sleep late ratio, irregular emotion, seasonal effect in authum and winter has so high proportion of the two countries that influence related to dysmenorrhea. High proportion of stress between the two countries with less affect the incidence of dysmenorrhea.4) In China and Thailand, menstruation normal for high proportion of dysmenorrhea, normal period, normal of menstrual amount, high rates of abnormal menstrual color, comparable to dysmenorrhea.5) In China and Thailand, female college students slightly high proportion in mild dysmenorrhea, age of Chinese students began to dysmenorrhea older than Thai, and slightly high of dysmenorrhea from deficiency cold syndrome. The deficiency cold and damp heat are more in Thailand. In addition, the two country patients also high proportion of blood stasis syndrome.6) The dysmenorrheal constitution of 100 Chinese female students, unbalancing constitution (85%)> moderate nature (15%), suggest that the unbalancing constitution prone to dysmenorrhea. In Chinese females, the Yang deficiency constitution> other unbalancing constitution. Note that, Yang deficiency constitution is more likely to cause dysmenorrhea.7) The dysmenorrheal constitution of 100 Thai female students, unbalancing constitution (91%)> moderate nature (9%), suggest that the unbalancing constitution prone to dysmenorrhea.In Thai females, the Qi deficiency constitution> other unbalancing constitution. Note that, Qi deficiency constitution is primary cause of dysmenorrhea.Conclusions:1 Comparison of China and Thailand, Qi deficiency and yang deficiency, that are main constitution lead to dysmenorrhea. Qi deficiency and Yang deficiency are cold constitution which main factors of dysmenorrhea.2 The quality of life such as, unbalancing spicy diets, cold, late sleep, irregular sleep, environmental stress factors, the emotional pressure is not normal, the weather in winter and autumn associated with menstrual cramps, comparable to dysmenorrhea.3 Menstrual situation in China and Thailand, normal menstruation period, normal amount of menstruation, the high incidence of abnormal menstrual color, comparable to dysmenorrhea.4 Chinese and Thai female undergraduate students are high proportion in mild dysmenorrhea. Age of Chinese students began to dysmenorrhea older than Thai. In China, dysmenorrhea relatively high by deficiency cold syndrome, in Thailand are deficiency cold and dampness heat syndrome. In addition, the two country patients also high proportion of blood stasis syndrome.
