China’s Music Education Research Under The Multicultural Perspective

The advent of the era of globalization and informationization makes the distance between peoples closer. In international exchanges, the national communication increasingly frequent today, deepening mutual understanding, enhancing mutual trust, promoting peace and stability development of all nationalities in the world have become the common aspiration of people of all countries. Multicultural concept is put forward, which is the demand of times development, and is one of the effective ways to solve the ethnic contradictions and ethnic conflicts, and this also is the purpose of the multicultural education hoping that it is through the education of all ethnic groups, especially the basic education of ethnic, all people enjoy equal rights. When the concept of culture pushes the boundaries of national, regional, national, extending in all directions, the scope of the concept of multi-culture is then expanded, multicultural education has caused a series of changes. Multicultural music education as a tributary of multicultural education, got the attention of many experts and scholars, especially the music anthropologist carried on the thorough research to its, causing music education great change. At present, the developed countries led by the United States in the multicultural music education research and practice have been relatively mature, establishinga relatively complete multicultural music education system. In many developing countries, multicultural music education system is to be established.
