| Multi-culture music education has been infiltrated every areas recently. How to teach the traditional music culture from different regions and nations is a perplexing problem and it is under the exploration of music academic circles. Papua New Guinea's traditional music culture in the current music education has been marginalized, is unknown. The main content of this paper is divided into three chapters to elaborate discussions with Chinese music education with a view to enlighten.About summary of the traditional musical culture in Papua New Guinea,the author's reference to anthropologists as"music and cultural anthropology model", describes with four levels and latitudes, which is the concept of music, activities, contents and material culture.Papua New Guinea's native state of music education research and model is an important reference for our traditional music teaching of Papua New Guinea, while keeping his music education with the current model comparison, Paradigm shift in the teaching of Chinese music plays an important reference value, which is mainly described in the third chapter.In the context of cultural diversity how to teach the traditional music for Papua New Guinea is at the center of this writing. It is described by its traditional music and culture, and the general state of music education and music education in schools in China and the conclusion reached earlier paradigm.
