Study On Literature About Suzhou Garden In The Qing Dynasty

Chinese classical garden, full of poetic beauty, is closely related to literature. The literature about Suzhou Garden in the Qing dynasty occupies a significant position in the history of Suzhou literature. However, scholars usually concentrate on the art of gardening, styles of architecture or historical changes. Even when it comes to literature, it is always simple description instead of professional research. This paper will study the literature about Suzhou Garden in the Qing dynasty, including garden poetry, prose, and garden literature appraise, focus on analyzing the relation between these literary works and gardens, the main contents of poetry, characteristics and values of literature, so as to reflecting unique features of literature about Suzhou Garden in the Qing dynasty.The whole paper is divided into five parts, covering introduction and four chapters. The introduction describes current research outcome of Suzhou Gardens, summarizes research achievements of literature about Suzhou Garden into classification and its significance to this paper, and also discusses the research purpose, importance and research methods.The first chapter is an overview of the Qing Dynasty Suzhou garden, first introduced in the Qing Dynasty Suzhou garden prosperous situation, and then analyzes the reasons prosperous and, finally, a private garden in Suzhou Qing characteristics.The second chapter of the Qing Dynasty Poetry Suzhou gardens, garden poetry from different emotional expression is divided into three sections, namely:delicate painted landscape, express feelings quiet garden enjoy the scenery; records garden scenes and feelings of assembly, expression of carpe diem Italy; With scenery or landscape features within the landscape, showing a sense of seclusion and vicissitudes of history.The third chapter of the Qing Dynasty Suzhou Garden garden prosestudy,garden prose mainly divided into two categories, one is focused on describing the landscape of the garden in mind, one is focused on expressing ideas and clarify some of the Hermitage pass away philosophy.The fourth Chapter is the research about appraise for garden literature, in which first explains the concept of garden literature appraise and its expression forms in gardens, and then analyzes the sources of garden literature appraise, with two aspects. This part mainly talks about three characteristics of Suzhou Gardens literature appraises, and finally concludes function and value of Suzhou Garden literature appraise.
