With the Chinese being noticed to the world, under the new ChineseInternational Education sight, the traditional foreign language teaching methodsconstantly updated with the changing times, development and progress. Vocabularyteaching has always been a top priority of Chinese teaching in recent years. There isstill some room for improvement with their continuous development. For example,when teaching vocabulary, word formation is not considered and meanings of wordsare not given and too much emphasis is given on the overall teaching vocabulary sothat student cannot understand the meaning of the Chinese making students fear ofChinese studying. This article emphasizes the importance of the use of morphememeaning in teaching new words and the importance of learning vocabulary on thebasis of understanding on the students’ part. And in the meantime the articleinvestigates and researches compound words of level one and level two in thetextbook "Developmental Chinese"--authoritative teaching book currently, arrayingthem according to the frequency of appearance in vocabulary, and picking out wordsthat can be taught in method of Morpheme Teaching. The article is divided into fourchapters, and the main contents are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction. This chapter is divided into three parts. Thefirst part introduces the reason for the choice of topic and significance of this article;second part of the results of previous enumerate description; third part introduces thescope of the study, research methods, the theoretical basis of this article, also pointedout the innovation of this paper.The second chapter defines and classifies the morpheme, and describes therelationship between morphemes and characters, words, and syllables.Also points outthat the use of the positive function of morpheme teaching in vocabulary teaching,which helps to understand memory words, help to expand your vocabulary and help todifferentiate synonyms, helps reduce the wrong character, help prevent new words.The third chapter is the beginning of materials,intermediate in terms ofmorpheme morphological investigation and analysis of the situation and follow the morphological forms from the high frequency listed in the end of the order,andpointed out that a number of the righteous corresponding morphememorpheme,divided into categories for easy intuitive and clear explanation textbooksfrequency and morpheme meanings of word formation conditions and specificanalysis to draw relevant conclusions.The fourth chapter is to point out the application of morpheme teachingstrategy.Think in the early and middle stage should follow the principle of selectiveprinciples, the principle of appropriateness, gradualness morpheme teaching, andthrough the analysis of the results of the survey, puts forward the specific teaching tothe teaching of the primary stage and middle stage.
