| Researching on the current situation of Chinese Teaching in the city of Quevedo,Los RÃos Province, Ecuador, mainly using the method of interview, questionnaire andobservation, this paper introduces the Chinese Teaching facts comprehensively in thiscity. This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter: the introduction, mainly presents the reason of choosing thistopic, the meaning and innovation of this paper, the method of doing the investigation,and the reports about Chinese Teaching in different countries. The Chinese Teachingbegan late in Ecuador, there’s little information about it, and this paper investigatesthe current Chinese Teaching situation in Quevedo, Ecuador;The second chapter: the panorama of Chinese Teaching in Ecuador, based on thecity of Quito and Quayaquil, mainly shows the whole picture of Chinese Teachingstatus quo in Ecuador. Around Quito, introduces the Chinese Teaching situation ofQuito Confucius Institute, Galapagos Confucius Institute and Siyuan Chinese School;and in Quayaquil, introduces that of Quayaquil Confucius Institute, the University ofQuayaquil and Zhenhua Middle School. Lastly, concludes this chapter;The third chapter: the investigation of Chinese Teaching situation in Quevedo,firstly, introduces the whole Chinese Teaching situation in this city, then mainly usingquestionnaire, describes and analyzes in detail the current situation of ChineseTeaching in the school UEPAC and the university UTEQ from curriculum set-up,teachers and students, teaching materials to Chinese learning assessments. Lastly,concludes the characteristics of Chinese Teaching in Quevedo;The fourth chapter: summary and prospect, points out the existing problems,proposes suggestions to improve the current situation, and looks into the future of theChinese Teaching in Quevedo.The fifth chapter: conclusion. |
