The Research Of The Functional Differences And Diachronic Evolvement Of The "Poque(破缺)" Class Words

The objects of the paper are the "Poque（破缺）" class adverbs. Based on thetheories of the three levels, the lexicalization and the grammaticalization, I try tounfold some basic features, characteristics and functional differences of the "poque（破缺）" class adverbs with the synchronic and diachronic analysis.The paper contains four chapters.The first chapter is prologue. The prologue mainly introduces the research statusof the "Poque（破缺）’’ class adverbs, the main emphasis and the value of the research.For now, we have little special studies on them with the synchronic and diachronicanalysis together. The purpose of the paper is to fill that gap.The second chapterfocuses on the functional differences between the "Poque（破缺）" class adverbs withthe synchronic analysis on the three aspects of syntax, such as sentence construction,semantic and pragmatics. The Syntactic differences display in the differences of thesyntactic distribution, that in way of they combine with noun or verb basically;theSemantic differences display in the differences of the degrees ofgrammaticalization、 the semantic emphasis or strength, ways to show "Poque(破缺)" and derogatory significance of "Po(破)","Lan(烂)";the Pragmatic differencesdisplay in the differences of focus and derogatory significance.With the diachronic analysis, the third chapter focuses on the development aboutsentence construction, semantic and pragmatics and the causation and mechanism ofthe "Poque(破缺)" class adverbs, probes into the process and characteristics of theirevolvement. They all have gone through processes of lexicalization orgrammaticalization. There are both identities and differences in the processes ofthem.The fourth chapter is the conclusion of the paper.
