The Clinical Experiment On The Treatment Of Lumber Intervertebral Disc Protrusion By Combine Electro Acupuncture And Zhong Pin Mai Chong Therapy

The lumber intervertebral disc protrusion(LIDP)is most common and its incidence of diseases is about 4%-7%. The article reviewed systematically the research results of both antiquity and modem times on pathology, pathogeny, diagnosis and treatment of LIDP. A systematical induction and analysis on it was gained, specially with a research on the treatment, such as acupuncture, Chinese massage and traction.In this study, we chose and treated 50 LIDP patients from Acupuncture and Moxibustion Dept. of Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine, and then they were randomly separated into two groups: One is called treatment group, the other is called comparison group. They were 25 patients in each group. In treatment group, 25 patients were treated by combine electro acupuncture and Zhong pin mai chong, and the comparison group was treated only by electro acupuncture.Methods: Looking on clinical curative effeat, complex evaluation of pain, clinical electric physiology as observation indexes, using the way of the organic combination of disease and traditional chinese medicine syndrome differention theory of Meridian, combination of the Distant-Local points, obsearved 50 patients of the ectatic and the bulgy of LIDP. Results: Clinical curative effect and complex evaluation of the EA＋Zhong pin mai chong was superior to that of the control group (p＜0.05,p＜0.01), the cured rate was 60%, the obviously cured rate was 80%, the total effective rate was 92%. Conelusions:①Clinical curative effect and complex evaluation of the EA＋Zhong pin mai chong group was superior to that of the control group (p＜0.05).②The main indication of EA＋Zhong pin mai chong in treatment of LIDP is the ectatic and the bulgy.
