| Objective:Observing the clinical efficacy of acupuncture and pricking bloodcombined with moxibustion therapy for treatment of postherpetic neuralgia, exploringthe causes of the therapy effect, and analyzing the related factors influencing theclinical efficacy of combined treatment. Seeking the effective therapy for this diseaseto alleviate the suffering of patients and improve the quality of life.Methods:60postherpetic neuralgia patients were selected from the acupuncturerehabilitation department of dermatology clinic and inpatient department of the FirstAffiliated Hospital of Anhui university of traditional Chinese medicine from January2012to December2013according to the inclusion criteria. They were randomlydivided into treatment group and control group with30cases in each group. Thetreatment group were treated by acupuncture and pricking blood combined withmoxibustion therapy. The control group treated by ibuprofen oral combined with TDPlamp radiation therapy. Both two groups were scored by visual analogue score,Hamilton depression scale and Athens Insomnia Scale before and after treatment.Observing the clinical efficacy after three courses of treatment.Results:1. The treatment group (acupuncture and pricking blood+moxibustion therapy)30cases,21cases cured,5cases remarkable,4cases effective,0case invalid,86.67%markedly effective,100%total efficiency. The control group (ibuprofen oral+TDPlamp irradiation)30cases,7cases cured,3cases remarkable,9cases effective,11cases invalid,33.33%markedly effective,63.33%total efficiency. The two groupshave statistical significance difference (P<0.05).2. After the treatment, the VAS scores of the treatment group and the control group were decreased compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). Especially, thetreatment group decreased significantly. There were significant difference betweenthe two groups (P<0.05).3. After the treatment, the HAMD scores of the treatment group and the control groupwere decreased compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). Especially, thetreatment group decreased significantly. There were significant difference between thetwo groups (P<0.05).4. After the treatment, the AIS scores of the treatment group and the control groupwere decreased compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). Sleeping quality ofthe treatment group was improved significantly better than the control group. Therewere significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).5. Effects associated with age and duration of factor analysis, the treatmentgroup patients within6months,the therapeutic effect is better. Conclusions: Acupuncture and pricking blood combined with moxibustion therapy isbetter than the control group among the curative effect, pain degree, psychologicalstatus and the sleeping quality improvement for the treatment of postherpeticneuralgia. The therapy of this topic is safe, significant effect and convenient inoperation. |
