Objective: In order to investigate the relationship of UA.Cys C withcoronary heart disease, Severity of coronary artery stenosis and thestenosis of coronary arteries. Methods: A total of468patients were included and screened bycoronary angiography. All of them were suspected of coronary heartdisease have the symptoms of chest tightness, chest pain. Use the Gensinicumulative index evaluate the severity of coronary artery disease. Theextent of lesions was evaluated by Sullivan’s methods. Detailinformations were record including age, gender, history of alcoholic, smoking, hypertension, diabetes. All patients were detected Cys C, UAand some other biochemical indicators levels. Use the correlation analysisto find the relationship of UA and Cys C with Gensini score and coronaryatherosclerotic plaque burden(CAPB).Results:1.UA and Cys C levels were obviously higher in the CHDgroup patients than control group(P<0.05).2. The proportion of hyperuricemia and the levels of UA, Cys C are significantly higher inmale CHD patients than postmenopausal female patients.3. The ratio ofHypertention and Diabetes mellitus in hyperuricemia group and high CysC group are obviously higher than control group(P<0.05).4.UA, Cys Cwere positively correlation with Gensini score; UA was positivelycorrelation with coronary plaque CAPB, on the contrary Cys C has nocorrelation.5.UA and Cys C levels were higher in the multi-vessel anddouble-vessel lesion groups than that in single-vessel lesion group(P<0.01or P<0.05).6. The areas under the ROC curve of UA and Cys C are0.757,0.626,suggest that UA has a higher predictive of coranary heartdisease.Conclusion1. UA and Cys C levels in CHD patients were allobvious higher than in control group, and more coronary lesion, the higherUA and Cys C.2. UA and Cys C levels have close relation with male andpostmenopausal female CHD patients. Both of them are risk factors inCHD.3. Both of the Serum UA and Cys C can be used to predict the riskof coronary heart disease. What’s more, UA has a higher predict valuethan Cys C.
