Objective:To investigate the relationship between serum cystatin C and age, uric acid, fibrinogen, estimated glomerular filtration rate in patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease and the influence on the severity of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease. Methods:1.171patients admitted to the hospital because of chest pain were retrospectively analyzed, including44cases of the patients with normal coronary angiography examination as control group, the other127cases after coronary angiography for coronary heart disease as a group of coronary artery disease, coronary atherosclerotic heart disease group was further divided into3subgroups, group respectively for stable angina (SA)(50cases), unstable angina (UA)(37cases), acute myocardial infarction (AMI)(40cases). The Gensini score was used to judge the severity of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.2. For all of the171patients enrolled, were used to detect SBP, DBP and blood biochemical index.3. using Logistic regression analysis of the indicators in relation to coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, and to analyze the correlation between serum CysC and each index. Further multivariate stepwise regression analysis was used to find the factors independently associated with serum CysC. Analysis of covariance was used to compare the serum level of CysC in coronary atherosclerotic heart disease subgroups. Results:1.Serum CysC, age, hypertension, uric acid are significantly correlated with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.2.Serum CysC is related to age, uric acid, HDL, eGFR, FIB, hs-CRP, after controlling for age, eGFR, partial correlation analysis showed, serum CysC and uric acid are positively correlated in patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, negatively related with HDL. Stepwise regression analysis find that, serum CysC is only correlated with age, uric acid, FIB, eGFR.3.The level of serum CysC in AMI group is higher than UA group, UA group higher than SA group; AMI, SA, UA group are higher than those in the control group. Serum CysC increases with the increase of Gensini score. Conclusion:1. The serum CysC is significantly associated with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.2. Serum CysC is independently related with age, uric acid, FIB, and eGFR.3.In each coronary atherosclerotic heart disease subgroup, the serum level of CysC is higher than those in the control group, serum CysC level increases with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease lesion degree aggravating.
