The number of patients went up gradually. The major infectious diseases in Taiyuan region were Virus Hepatitis, Measles, Hand-Foot-And-Mouth Disease, Mumps, Chicken pox, Bacillary Dysentery, Scarflet fever, Brucella bacteria Infectious Diarrhea, Rubella, and among which Virus Hepatitis was considered as the leading cause of death, the fatality rate declined year by year.(2)The distribution characteristics and transition of the epidemic diseases in the whole hospital:①The most common diseases were Hepatitis B, making up82.41%of the number of the patients infected by the epidemic diseases in the whole hospital, Hepatitis C making up13.28%, and both of them tended to increase.②Blood and sexually transmitted disease is the most common, accounting for63.87%of the epidemic diseases, which was increasing year by year, Respiratory infectious disease ranked second, Digestive tract infectious diseases third. The cases of Respiratory infectious disease increased generally, but it reduced year by year before2008, after which the number of hospitalized patients had a tendency to increase, influenced by Hand-Foot-And-Mouth Disease.③Virus infections was regarded as the most common among disease sources of the epidemic diseases, making up90.45%of the epidemic diseases, tending to increase. Bacteria accounted for7.44%, tending to decline, the others making up2.11%, its incidence ratio kind of increasing.④The general ratio of the infectious diseases of urban to rural residents was1.32:1, the number and ratio of the hospitalized patients among urban and rural residents obviously tended to increase.⑤Judging from seasons, The peak season of the epidemic diseases were from March to May and from October to December, and there were least patients in July and August.⑥The easliest infected diseases varied with different ages.⑦The epidemic disease had some differences in different sexes, males are easy to be infected by the other diseases other thanscarflet fever.⑧Phohodipsia, Scarflet fever, Brucella bacteria and Hepatitis C tended to increase, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis E, Rubella, Bacillary dysentery, Exogenous febrile disease, Epidemic hemorrhagic disease and Epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis tended to decline.(3)The distribution characteristics and transition of varieties of diseases:The peak season of measles baried from spring to summer gradually, the period of which lasted longer, the declination was slower, the number of the patients infected obviously declined. Among which there were more children patients below one year old and Measles of adults. Patients of Hepatitis A, Hepatitis E, Hepatitis B, hepatitis C in Virus hepatitis became more, the patients infected by Hepatitis B became younger. The number of the patients infected by Brucella bacteria became larger, and it was obvious that the patients from urban residents and children below six years old became more. Conclusion:The hospitalized patients of infectious diseases tended to increase, the ratio of death had a declining tendency. The most common infectious diseases are Virus Hepatitis, Measles, Hand-Foot-And-Mouth Disease, Mumps, Chicken pox. Blood and sexually transmitted disease such as hepatitis C has obviously increased during the past two years, Bacillary Dysentery, Hepatitis A, Exogenous febrile disease and so on tended to decline in the long run, Phohodipsia, Scarflet fever and Brucella bacteria took on a tendency of going up.
