Objective:To explore the etiology and composition of patients with liver disease hospitalized in the department of infectious diseases of The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical university from 2016 to 2018,so as to provide direction for more rapid and accurate diagnosis of diseases in the future,and to provide a basis for the treatment and management of patients with liver disease.Methods:A statistical analysis was conducted on the inpatients with liver disease admitted to the infectious diseases department of The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical university from January 2016 to December 2018.Calculating the types,number of cases,gender and clinical outcome of the inpatients according to the annual statistics,and analysing the composition of the causes of liver disease in recent 3 years.Results:Among the hospitalized patients with liver disease,the male patients were more than the female patients,and the hepatitis patients were the main ones,among which viral hepatitis was the most common.Viral hepatitis B accounts for the vast majority,but the proportion shows a downward trend.Among the causes of cirrhosis,HBV-related hepatic cirrhosis is dominant.Liver failure patients account for about 1/5 of the hospitalized patients with liver disease,among which the largest proportion is liver failure caused by hepatitis virus.The overall recovery rate of liver disease inpatients showed an increasing trend.Conclusion:The hospitalized patients with liver disease are mainly male patients,and viral hepatitis is dominant.Although the number of patients with HBV is the first,the number of hospitalized patients decreases year by year,the proportion of patients with liver failure decreases,and the overall recovery rate increases.
