Objective: To study L-carnitine (L-CN) intervention on myocardial injuryin rats with adriamycin (ADM) whether induced myocardial protection in theperioperative period.Methods:30female SD rats were divided into3groups (N=10) randomly:A group (NS), B group (ADM+NS), C group (ADM+L-CN). Take bloodsamples from following points: In T1(experiment day3), T2(experiment day15), T3(experiment day29), T4(experiment day30), then detect the level ofserum cTnI in the blood serum, H-FABP in content and LDH activity. Themyocardial tissues were taken to detect the level of nucleotide metabolicpool(ATP, ADP, AMP) content.Results:(1) serum cTnI: At T1point, serum cTnI level of A, B, C threegroups had no statistical difference compared with each other(P>0.05); At T2point, serum cTnI level of A group was significantly lower than B and C group(P <0.05), and the comparison between B and C group was of no significantdifference (P>0.05); At T3point, serum cTnI level of A and C group werelower than B group (P <0.05), and the comparison between A and C group wasof no significant difference (P>0.05); At T4point, serum cTnI level of A group was lower than B group (P <0.05), A, B group compared with C grouphad no statistical difference (P>0.05).(2) serum H-FABP: At T1point, serumH-FABP content of A, B, C three groups had no statistical difference comparedwith each other (P>0.05); At T2point, serum H-FABP content of A group wassignificantly lower than B and C group (P <0.05), B and C group had nostatistical difference (P>0.05); At T3point, serum H-FABP content of A and Cgroup were lower than that of group B (P <0.05), compared with A, C group Chad no statistical difference (P>0.05); At T4point, serum H-FABP content ofB group was higher than that of A and C group (P <0.01), compared with A,group C had no statistical difference (P>0.05).(3) serum LDH: At T1point,serum LDH activity of A, B, C three groups had no statistical differencecompared with each other (P>0.05); At T2point, serum LDH activity of Agroup was significantly lower than B and C group (P<0.01), and the comparisonbetween B and C group was of no significant difference (P>0.05); At T3point,serum LDH activity of A and C group was lower than group B (P <0.05),compared with A group, group C had no statistical difference (P>0.05); At T4point, serum LDH activity of A group was lower than group B (P <0.05), groupC, respectively, compared with A, B group had no statistical difference (P>0.05).(4) Myocardial nucleotides: the ATP content of three groups of ratsshowed no significant statistical difference compared with each other (P>0.05);the ADP content of B and C group were lower than that of group A (P <0.05),and the comparison between B and C group was of no significant difference (P>0.05); The AMP content of B group was lower than that in group A and C (P<0.05), the comparison between A and C group was of no significantdifference (P>0.05); the pool nucleotide metabolism amount of B group was lower than A and C group (P <0.05), A group compared to C group was nosignificant statistical difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)L-CN intervention may improve myocardial energymetabolism of rats, can reduce myocardial injury in rats induced by ADM,, hasa protective effect on damaged myocardium;(2) The L-CN can reducemyocardial damage again by anesthesia and surgery on female SD rats whichreceived ADM chemotherapy before.
