Objective: To analyze the estimated and prognosis value of serum uric acidin the patients with chronic cor pulmonale, so we can judge its condition andprognosis in the early development of the patient condition. Methods: A retrospective analysis between January2011and December2013of30cases healthy physical examination in a medical center andrespiratory treated92cases chronic cor pulmonale patients,37cases of corpulmonale patients with compensatory phase,55patients with decompensatedperiod, the author analyzed the clinical datas.Results:1. Select30cases healthy physical examination in a medical center as thecontrol group, patients who suffered from chronic cor pulmonale patients inpneumology department as the observation group, the serum uric acid inobservation group (291.76±82.37μmol/L) compared with serum uric acid(258.86±93.37μmol/L) in control group, the difference was statisticallysignificant (P<0.05).2.Select chronic cor pulmonale patients with compensatory phase as theobservation group, patients with decompensated period as the control group, thePO2in the observation group (42.35±14.61mmHg) compared with the PO2inthe control group (63.50±10.69mmHg), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The BNP in teh observation group (5237.95±4170.20pg/ml) compared with the BNP in the control group (1700.02±1219.25pg/ml),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The serum uric acid inobservation group (342.92±78.65u mol/L) compared with the serum uric acidin the control group (286.11±78.35u mol/L), the difference was statisticallysignificant (P<0.05).3. Patients who suffered from chronic cor pulmonale, the PO2before thetreatment(49.27±16.69mmHg) with the compared the PO2(74.6±20.05mmHg)after the treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). TheBNP before the treatment (3925.20±6962.1pg/ml) compared with the BNPafter the treatment (960.26±1211.60pg/ml), the difference was statisticallysignificant (P<0.05).The serum acid before the treatment (319.68±81.80umol/l)compared with the serum uric acid after the treatment(272.36±73.25umol/l), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).4. Patients who suffered from chronic cor pulmonale before the treatmeat, the PO2is linearly related to the serum uric acid with a negative correlation (r=-0.3026, P<0.05). Regression equation is y (serum uric acid)=-1.2352+368.86x (PO2). The serum BNP is linearly related to the serum uric acid with a positivecorrelation (r=0.3634, P<0.05). Regression equation is y (blood uric acid)=0.0072x(BNP)+283.06. Conclusion:1. Compared with healthy physical examination, the serum uric acid inpatients with chronic cor pulmonale is generally on a high level, whichreminders the body in the oxidative stress state.2. The patients who suffered from chronic cor pulmonale, after activetreatment, patients’ cardiopulmonary function improved, patients’ serum uricacid and BNP was significantly reduced, the PO2partial pressure rised, thechange of serum uric acid can reflect the changes of the patients with respiratoryand cardiac function.3.Patients who suffered from chronic cor pulmonales, the serum uric acid isnegatively correlated with PO2, and is positively correlated serum BNP levels.4.The serum uric acid can be used as an indicator of severity and prognosisevaluated in the patients who suffered from chronic cor pulmonales.
