The Clinical Observation Of Biejiahuajian Decoction In Combination With S-1in The Treatment Of Advanced Gastric Carcinoma(Deficiency Of Both Qi And Blood)in Elderly Patients

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of advanced gastric carcinoma(deficiency of both qi and blood) in elderly patients treated by Biejiahuajian decoction in combination with S-1.Methods:Sixty cases of advanced gastric cancer in elderly patients were randomly divided into two groups,thirty cases in each group.Both groups were treated by S-1,and3weeks as a course of continuous observation for6cycles.Cases in the obserbation group were treated by Biejiahuajian decoction.The tumor size、TCM symptom and adverse reaction were observed before and after all the treatments.Results:TCM syndrom of2groups after all treatments has dropped.There is statistically significant between the treatment group and control group after treatment(P<0.01).To compare2groups of KPS scores in post-treatment,the difference is significant(P<0.01). Tumor size of observation group is bigger than it of control gruoup after treatment(P<0.05).The observation group have fewer adverse reaction than the control group,apart from aleucocytosis, nausea and vomitting.Conclusion:There is a significant clinical effect of Biejiahuajian decoction in combination with S-1in the treatment of advanced gastric carcinoma in elderly patients.
