Objective:To observe the efficacy of the decubitus exercise method of four steps with acupuncture and physiotherapy on the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Methods:According to the standards of inclusion criteria,70patients who had a disgnosis of CSR during January2013to October2013were selected as research subjects in department of Orthopedics Ward3in Xiamen Hospital of TCM.The patients were randomly and equally divided into control and treatment groups of35people each. When the experiment is completed, There are33people in the control group, the treatment group had31people.In the control group to take acupuncture and physiotherapy treatment, in which acupuncture is reinforcing-reducing techniques, needle for30minutes, once a day treatment, treatment cycle period of two weeks; physiotherapy frequency therapeutic apparatus using a computer, the patient is placed shoulder and neck, time30minutes a day, once treated, the treatment cycle is two weeks. Base on the acupuncture and physiotherapy treatment of control group, The treatment group guiding patients the decubitus exercise method of four steps.The decubitus exercise method of four steps is divided into four movements,each movement stick10seconds bell was once20times as a group, the daily workout early in the evening a group, the treatment period of three months. Compare two groups of patients before treatment, two weeks and three months after treatment,20minutes Cervical Disease Rating Scale score, SFMPQ score, the overall clinical efficacy evaluation in order to observe the clinical efficacy. Analyze the data ststistically using the statistical software SPSS18.0for windows.Results:1.General information:The difference between the two groups on sex,age,the course of disease,were not significant (P<0.05).2.Groups of patients before and after treatment of symptoms and signs to quantify (cervical spondylosis symptoms scale of20points method) comparison:compared two groups of patients before treatment and after two weeks of treatment at3months of treatment,The symptoms, work life skills, signs, hand function and total score differences (P<0.05).The description of two treatments for CSR showed significant improvement in symptoms, working life skills, signs, hand function; and the efficacy of the decubitus exercise method of four steps with acupuncture and physiotherapy is better than acupuncture and physiotherapy treatment.3.Pain Evaluation and comparison of before and after treatment (SFMPQ):Comparison of the two groups of patients, there are differences (P<0.05) after the first2weeks and3months after treatment compared SFMPQ score; After2weeks of treatment with three after months between groups, SFMPQ score differences (P<0.05), the treatment group compared with the control group was significantly relieve pain. Description of two treatment methods can improve pain symptoms of nerve root type cervical spondylosis, and the decubitus exercise method of four steps with acupuncture and physiotherapy in improving CSR pain better than acupuncture and physiotherapy treatment.4.Groups overall efficacy compared to patients:two groups of patients after2weeks and3months of treatment, the total effective rate was75.76%,78.79%in the control group,83.87%,93.55%in treatment group.The two groups of patients after treatment2weeks and three months later want to compare the total effect were different (P<0.05). Description the decubitus exercise method of four steps with acupuncture and physiotherapy more effective than acupuncture and physiotherapy treatment.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture and physiotherapy is an effective treatment of CSR.2.The decubitus exercise method of four steps with acupuncture and physiotherapy can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of CSR,relief pain, compared to simple Acupuncture and physiotherapy treatments are more significant.
