Objective:To observe the Clinical efficacy of Shenkang Bolt in treating the patients with chronic renal insufficiency CKDⅢ-Ⅳ period, its influence on the renal function(including the Scr, BUN) and PAI-1in serum.Method:Randomly divided the patients, who met the Western diagnosis standards of CKD staging and the TCM standards of dampness of blood silt and damp pathogen syndrome, into2groups.30patients were in the therapy group, and30patients in the control group. Control grorp received Niaoduqing granules dissoving in liquid lavation, and the therapy group received Shenkang Bolt tucking in the anus. A course is eight weeks in both2groups. Then we observed the symptoms, signs, clinical biochemical indicators and PAI-1in serum before and after the treatment.Results:Shenkang Bolt tucking in the anus, compared with Niaoduqing granules dissoving in liquid lavation, both can improve the clinical symptoms, signs, and protect renal function, lower serum PAI1-concentration. And there was no difference between the efficacy of Shenkang Bolt tucking in the anus and that of Niaoduqing granules dissoving in liquid lavation, but the former is easier to use.1.The total effective rate of Shenkang Bolt group was86.67%, and the control group was83.33%. The difference of the effective rate in2groups was not significant (P<0.05).2.The syndromes integral value, SCr, BUN, PAI-1of the patients in two groups were significantly decreased (P<0.01or P<0.05), but compared between the two groups, there was no significant difference (P>0.05).3.The mechanism of Shenkang Bolt treating the patients with chronic renal failure and renal dampness and blood stasis syndrome may be related to lowering the expression of serum PAI-1.Conclusion:Shenkang Bolt is based on the principle of cure of this disease, characteristics, pathogenesis, easy to use, safe and reliable, and can improve renal function in patients with chronic renal insufficiency, slow down disease progression, and can improve symptoms, the dampness turbidity of mechanism may be associated with lower serum PAI-1expression, deserves further research and clinical promotion. |
