| Objective:To observe the short-term and long-term effect of Baohe pill modification in treatment of infants with sleep disorders and food stagnation, and provide theoretical basis for clinical applications of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Methods:105infants with sleep disorders and food stagnation were chosen for the study, randomly divided into control group (70cases) and treatment group (35cases). The treatment group was treated with Baohe pill modification, while the control group without any medicine interfere.Both groups received clinical health education. Clinical effect was assessed at2-week,4-week after treatment and2-month after drug withdrawal.Results:At the end of the treatment,in treatment group,6cases were cured (8.57%),53cases were markedly improvd (75.71%),10cases improved (14.28%),1case ineffective (1.42%), the total effective rate was98.58%. In control group, none case was cured,14cases were markedly improvd (40.00%),15cases improved (42.85%),6cases ineffective (17.14%), the total effective rate was82.86%. A significant difference between two groups in short-term effect was observed (p<0.05). After finishing the periods of treatment for two months, in treatment group,3cases were cured (4.29%),47cases were markedly improvd (67.14%),18cases improved (25.71%),2cases ineffective (2.86%), the total effective rate was97.14%. In control group, none case was cured,10cases were markedly improvd (28.57%),18cases improved (51.34%),7cases ineffective (20.00%), the total effective rate was80.00%. A significant difference between two groups in long-term effect was observed (p<0.05).Conclusion:1.Baohe pill modification has a short-term effect and long-term stability in treatment of infants with sleep disorders and food stagnation.2. Baohe pill modification was effective in food stagnation prior to sleep disorders.3. Reasonable diet and sleeping education has a certain help to promote sleep quality of infants. |
