The Clinical Study Of Qing Fei Hua Tan Decoction Treating The Acute Period Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (the Accumulation Of Phlegm-heat In Lung)

Objective:To observe the effects and safety of Qing Fei Hua Tan decoction treating the acute period of Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (the accumulation of phlegm-heat in lung). And to discuss its part-mechanism of action.Methods:Sixty-two patients meeting the required standards were randomly divided into two groups:thirty-one of Therapy group and thirty-one of Case control group.Two groups were even treated by routine treatment of western medicine.The Case control group administered Jin bei tan ke qing pellet and Jin shui bao cachet.The Therapy group administered Qing Fei Hua Tan decoction.Result:In the course of medical treatment.one patient fell off in the Therapy group,no one in the other group.Thetotal effic-iency observed shows that The comparison are significantly differently.The Therapy group acquired better result than control group. The comparison of Chinese medicine certificate pending efficacy shows Therapy group are better than control group.There are significantly differences in major symptoms score.Those in Therapy group are less than those in che control group.The improvement of FEV1%affter treating of two groups are different. Therapy group received a higher level than the control group.Conclusions:Qing Fei Hua Tan decoction is an effective medicine which can treat the acute period of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease effectively.It can improve the symptoms and signs of COPD. patients. Qing Fei Hua Tan decoction are safe and reliable.
