The Clinical Study Of. Jiaweizuojinwan On Treating Chronic Colitis (Syndrome Of Intermingled Heat And Cold)

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Jiaweizuojinwan in treating chronic colitis(syndrome of intermingled heat and cold).Methods:50cases of patients with chronic colitis from November2012to December2013were selected and divided into two groups,27for the treatment group and23for the control group, the treatment group was treated with Jiaweizuojinwan and the control group was treated with Mesalamine for4weeks.The therapeutic effect, including the curative effect of TCM syndrome, therapeutic effect of mucous membrane under microscope, and the synthetic curative effect were observed. Moreover, all of above were compared between treatment and control group.Result:1. After the treatment, the overall efficiency of the treatment group was92.59%,and that of the control group was73.91%, there was significantly difference between the two groups on the synthetic curative effect (P<0.05).2.After treatment, there was no significantly difference between the two groups on the curative effect of mucosa (P>0.05), it showed that colonoscopy efficacy of the treatment group was quite with the control group.3.The accumulate points of the symptoms of2groups after treatment were both significantly lower than that of before treatment(P<0.05); Especially in improving diarrhea, mucous bloody stool, tenesmus and poor appetite, the curative effect of treatment group was obviously better than the control group (P<0.05); The recurrence rate of treatment group was lower than the control group (P<0.05).4.During the course of the treatment, there was no adverse reaction occur in the treatment group, but in the control group, one case suffered nausea, untreated gradually improved,did not affect the continued drug use, By monitoring safety indicators (blood routine, urine routine, ECG, liver and kidney function, etc.), there wasn’t any affect with the treatment. Conclusion:1. Jiaweizuojinwan had certain advantages in the clinical symptom improvement.2Jiaweizuojinwan had certain advantages in mucosal repair.3.Jiaweizuojinwan had certain advantages in comprehensive effect,and its curative effect was better than Mesalamine.4.Jiaweizuojinwan was a effective medicine for the chronic colitis(syndrome of intermingled heat and cold).There was almost no adverse reaction during the course of taking Jiaweizuojinwan.
