Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Diarrhea Recipe No.3 in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome of diarrhea type(IBS-D)with cold-heat disorder patient.Method:In this study,90 patients were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups.The patients in the treatment group were treated with Prescription No.3 of Intestines Disease,while the patients in the control group were treated with Pinaverium Bromide.Through the statistical analysis of TCM symptom score and IBS-QOL score By comparing the scores of TCM symptoms and IBS-QOL between groups and within groups pre-and post-treatment and after 2 months drug withdrawal,so as to observe the short-term and long-term curative effect of the two groups and compare them.Result:1.45 patients were included in the treatment group and the control group separately,and one person fell off,and the shedding rate was 2.2%.2.After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 95.50%and 79.50%,respectively.There was a significant statistical difference in the distribution of efficacy grades(P<0.01).The treatment group was significantly better than the control group.During the follow-up,the total effective rates of the treatment group and the control group were 84.10%and 43.20%,respectively,with a significant statistical difference(P<0.01).3.Intra group comparison between pre-and post-treatment:(1)Treatment group:the scores of single symptom,total score and IBS-QOL were significantly different before and after treatment(P<0.01).(2)Control group:there were significant differences(P<0.01)in the characteristics of stool,the number of stools,abdominal pain and a-bdominal distention,and there were significant differences(P<0.05)indiarrhea caused by cold,but there were no significant differences in bitter of mouth,fear of cold(P>0.05).Except for interpersonal relatio-nship,there was no statistical significance of IBS-QOL(P>0.05)com-pared with that before treatment,the other four dimensions had signific-ant difference(P<0.01).4.Comparison between groups after 4 weeks of treatment:the diff-erence of the scores of individual symptoms,total scores,D-value befo-re and after treatment and the five dimensions of IBS-QOL between gr-oups was statistically significant(P<0.01).5.There was a significant correlation between the disease severity of the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).There was si-gnificant difference between the two groups in the treatment effect dist-ribution of patients with different disease severity(P<0.01).6.Two months follow-up after drug withdrawal:there was significant difference between the two groups in the scores of individual symptoms,D-value before and after treatment(P<0.01).Conclusion:The short-term and long-term effects of Prescription No.3 of Intestines Disease in the treatment of IBS-D patient with cold-heat disorder were better than those of the control group of western medicine.
